We welcome our readers to the July-September edition of the Journal of Clinical Sciences.
This edition is the third since the journal became quarterly.
We are pleased to report that authors and readers have welcomed the idea of a quarterly journal.
With the recent downturn of the Nigerian economy, as a result of worldwide lowering of crude oil prices, we must announce to our authors that to maintain the cost of publishing the Journal of Clinical Sciences, the members of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences have to put in some fund-generating measures so that regularity of the journal can be maintained.
To this end, we will introduce from the next edition, an article acceptance fee of $50 per article for the members of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences and $75 for nonmembers. We also will introduce a color processing fee of $25 per color page for all publishers.
I know that our authors will bear with us as we tackle these unforeseen difficulties.
We are also going to change the format of our journal design in line with some amendments by our publishers.
I wish all our authors and readers' happy reading.
